After announcing their initiative to ‘Move the World Together' in April, Trail King and Goldhofer personnel met in Mitchell, SD in early June for a week-long meeting to discuss their relationship and dive into each company's respective product offerings.
At the beginning of the week, tours were given of Trail King's manufacturing facility in Mitchell, SD. Goldhofer representatives got a close-up view of the process that sets Trail King apart from the competition while also seeing passionate Trail King employees hard at work.
Evenings were spent getting to know each other through social interactions, including a pontoon ride on Lake Mitchell and a cookout at the lake. Highlights included a bean bag competition and introducing the Germans to their first s'mores.
Both companies prepared impressive presentations on the functionality and benefits of their products filled with pictures and videos. There were opportunities to touch and feel the products and operational demonstrations as well. The knowledge at the meeting was unbelievable! Between all of the representatives present there were over 500 years of experience and knowledge in the customized hauling industry.
"This relationship is all about serving our customers better," says Rick Farris, Trail King's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "We are excited about expanding our reach beyond the Western Hemisphere and giving our customers in North America even better service than we already provide."
That is exactly what was accomplished as Trail King and Goldhofer walked away at the end of the week with a better understanding for what the other does.
Together the companies will provide customers with the best possible trailer for their hauling situation. Trail King and Goldhofer look forward to this mutually beneficial relationship that will provide every customer with an extensive line of hauling solutions across the world.
